Inventory, 18 June, 2010.

Presented here are three wonderful pieces from our current inventory.

Pictured first is a swell vintage aviator by Serengeti with a lovely tortoise shell frame and original glass photochromic lenses. Photochromic differs a bit from transitional lenses, the first being that it's not prescription, another that they quickly go from a light peach to a deep walnut when taken out-of-doors. We are quite happy to present this piece in all it's immaculate glory. $400.

The second pair is one of our now infamous prison glasses. That's right, prison glasses. It doesn't get more Johnny Cash than this folks. These were standard issue to prisoners in the 1960's for several reasons, give us a call or stop by for full details. This particular frame bears a dark grey lens we had specially fitted for them(we are a full service optical boutique after all). We've acquired a small collection of these and in several sizes. Made entirely in the U.S. of A., they start at a very modest $150. For a standard tint as pictured we charge an additional $40.

Lastly is another pair from our prison frames stock. These have no lenses and may easily be fitted with any prescription(as can all our glasses actually). To re-iterate, we are a full service optical boutique and Board Certified Dispensing Opticians. We can repair nearly anything and fit any frame with any lens; prescription, special order sunglass lenses or just plain old clear if you wear specs as an accessory.
