See Jack run. See Jack look like an inventor

With his new specs and well groomed, beautiful beard, Jack will surely invent something this weekend. Maybe he'll invent a way to make the weather warmer on Sunday. Tomorrow's the fourth of July, for pete's sake. C'mon Jack! It should be in the 90's.

Not your average aviators:

Summer is definitely here and you're probably sick of seeing the same old Ray Ban aviators everywhere. You don't have to be Howard Hughes to appreciate a pair of quality aviator sunglasses. The top pair is a vintage French frame in chrome, made by Girard. It's equipped with amazing gray to yellow, double gradient lenses and it's $350. The second pair is a vintage Japanese aviator by Tura in gold color, with brown gradient FLOATING lenses and it's $500. The third vintage frame is made by, none other than, Dunhill. Yes, one of the gentlemanliest companies around. It's gold colored with gray/blue gradient lenses and has the original Dunhill soft case and it costs $500. All 3 frames have 100% UV protection. We just have one of each, so get on it!

3 pieces from our inventory:

The top frame pictured is a vintage Claiborne, made in Japan (back when Claiborne eyewear was made in Japan) and it's a very light, durable frame in a brushed gold color. It's $150. The second frame down is a very unusual almond shape, made in Austria out of black Optyl. It's $250. The third frame is a beautiful vintage 1960's blue/cream crystal fade frame made from acetate and it's $220. Call or email to order. Frames subject to availability.

Zach wears short shorts. (and shade shades)

From the neck up, Zach looks like a 1960's gent, with his new black shades, that he just procured from us. From the neck down, he's a man of extraordinary pink and electric teal 1980's flash. Using complex mathematics, we've decided that this should average him out to look very 1970's but he does not... Not at all, in fact. Strange.

Mark with his new shades.... and.... pie?

Mark stopped by GB to grab a pair of mafia style aviators for the holiday weekend. He had a splash of scotch with his cherry pie (that he brought). It was in a glass serving dish and everything. We admire his luxuriocity.

One way ticket to Round-Town:

The top frame pictured is a vintage Diane Von Furstenberg ($150) that's a beautiful dark green color with gold colored bridge. The second frame is a vintage Sebastiano ($150) in gray tortoise color. The third one down is a vintage acetate P3 frame ($300) in a dark brown tortoise color. All 3 can be filled with your prescription and/or have tinted sun lenses installed. Call or email us to order.

High class in hot weather

One of our favorite customers, and my cousin, Dr. Nicky showed up recently wearing shorts with brown dress shoes and black dress socks. Like so many men in my family, Dr. Nicky suffers from skinny wizard ankles. We applauded him vigorously until our hands hurt.
