Prison Glasses:

Yep, we've still got some. These were the types of specs worn by inmates in penitentiaries throughout the USA starting in the mid 1960's. The reason these were issued is because inmates couldn't SHANK each other with them, as there are no metal rods inside the temples. Also, these specs were manufactured out of flexible yet durable nylon instead of acetate. They came in black and brown. We can put Rx lenses and/or tints in them too. Blammo.

R&D (Research and Drinking)

Our good old pal Taylor is a reeeeeal jerk. He stopped by GB for some shades, a splash and a puff on the corncob pipe. He's good at giving advice on matters concerning most things that are involving, related to, affiliated with or referencing booze. And he's awesome because he ne'er ties his bowtie.

We Need More Transparency:

Hey, ya cheapskate.  Check out these American made vintage specs we just got in. The frames are sorta see-through. And the lenses are REALLY see-through. Pow.

Ahoy!

Our good friend Michael Hayden (who just won a Teacher of The Year award) picked an appropriate time to wear his antique Lorgnette with windo-o-matic chain lapel pin that he picked up at Gentlemen's Breakfast... On a boat. A booooooat! He probably could have taken over as captain, considering how utterly dapper he is.
