Shootout at The GB Canal:
Alright, now don't worry. This shootout between Zinzi and Nina, though serious looking, was non-lethal. They were just overcome with wild West feelings when Zinzi came in to obtain a pair of vintage Diane Von Furstenberg prescription glasses and before they knew it, they were wearing cowboyhats. Watch out for these two.

Cowboyhat... um... Thursday?
Vintage Carrera Sunjet Shades:
Carrera "Sunjet" sunglasses were popular in the 80's and have become collector's items today. This one pictured has an exciting and rare colorway. Instead of merely having a brown tortoise pattern, they impregnated this frame with purple hints throughout the acetate. It has brown gradient 100% UV lenses. The cost is $250. Call or email us to order.

12KT Gold Filled specs:
This little 12KT gold filled dandy is well over one hundred years old and they have cable temples that wrap around one's ears. (Cable temples were invented in the 1800's for cavalry men so the glasses would not slip off) We've installed 100% UV brown gradient tints, as you can see, but we can make your RX lenses in any color. These ones cost $350.

Cowboyhat Sunday was awesome!
Thanks to everyone who visited GB on this last Cowboyhat Sunday. We were too busy to take very many pictures but during a lull, we snapped a few. Shown above is Sheldon who grabbed a pair of vintage French aviators before departing. He looked like an eccentric super villain with his seersucker coat and lapdog. Exxcccelent. Also, shown above is a smoke break that Captain Morgan and I had. Yeeeeehaw!

One more day until COWBOYHAT SUNDAY, pardners!
Howdy. Yes, we're aware that people will be watching the world cup tomorrow but that only goes until about 1pm. Afterwords would be a great time for fellers and gals to swing by Gentlemen's Breakfast where you get a FREE straw cowboyhat with every eyewear purchase! Cowboyhat Sundays are every Sunday in July!
William makes everyone feel un-handsome:
William was already measuring 10 out of 10 on the handsometer but after he grabbed this pair of 1960's T.A. frames, he was a 14 making us all rate 5 out of 10 on the extremely accurate handsometer. Curse you, William. Cuuuuuurssse yooooouuuuu. He had the awesomest powder blue James Perse slacks too. You win this round, William!
Chad relaxes (times one thousand)

Cowboyhat Sundays!
FERRARI and CARRERA shades, to go with your supercar:
The top 2 frames are official FERRARI licensed products. One has money green gradient lenses with a silver flash mirror and the other one has sleezy record producer pink gradient lenses. They're $500 each. The bottom one is made by CARRERA and it hints of something Ace Rothstein (Robert De Niro) would've worn in the movie Casino. These CARRERA shades are made out of Optyl, in Austria and they're $300. All 3 frames are vintage, have 100% UV protection and are subject to availability. Call or email us to order.

T.A. frames, finally here!
They're here! We've been getting requests for these T.A. vintage, handmade gems and we've found some. These are the frames that almost every modern frame company has copied. We've found the originals and they're MADE IN AMERICA too. (What a concept?) The top pair is a dusty beige color, the middle is blackwood over crystal color and the bottom pair is dark brown over crystal color. They're $350 without sun lenses and $390 with the UV sun lenses. Items are subject to availability. Call or email us to order.

The second pair down is a butterfly shape in muted bubblegum and crystal color with gray gradient lenses and it's only $350! The third pair down is freckly gray with gray gradient lenses and it's $400. All three have 100% UV protection. We just have one pair of each, as they're VERY rare. Call or email us to order.

See Jack run. See Jack look like an inventor
Not your average aviators:
Summer is definitely here and you're probably sick of seeing the same old Ray Ban aviators everywhere. You don't have to be Howard Hughes to appreciate a pair of quality aviator sunglasses. The top pair is a vintage French frame in chrome, made by Girard. It's equipped with amazing gray to yellow, double gradient lenses and it's $350. The second pair is a vintage Japanese aviator by Tura in gold color, with brown gradient FLOATING lenses and it's $500. The third vintage frame is made by, none other than, Dunhill. Yes, one of the gentlemanliest companies around. It's gold colored with gray/blue gradient lenses and has the original Dunhill soft case and it costs $500. All 3 frames have 100% UV protection. We just have one of each, so get on it!

3 pieces from our inventory:
The top frame pictured is a vintage Claiborne, made in Japan (back when Claiborne eyewear was made in Japan) and it's a very light, durable frame in a brushed gold color. It's $150. The second frame down is a very unusual almond shape, made in Austria out of black Optyl. It's $250. The third frame is a beautiful vintage 1960's blue/cream crystal fade frame made from acetate and it's $220. Call or email to order. Frames subject to availability.
Zach wears short shorts. (and shade shades)
From the neck up, Zach looks like a 1960's gent, with his new black shades, that he just procured from us. From the neck down, he's a man of extraordinary pink and electric teal 1980's flash. Using complex mathematics, we've decided that this should average him out to look very 1970's but he does not... Not at all, in fact. Strange.
Mark with his new shades.... and.... pie?
